Iloilo City
The National Center for Mental Health (NCMH) officially receives its Plaque of Recognition on the attainment of good practices for green and safe health facilities after garnering a four-star rating under the Green Viability Assessment System.
On behalf of NCMH, the award was received by Engr. Evelyn Purino, Chief of Planning and Development Section, together with Mr. Tristian John Palmani, OIC of the Quality Management Office, and Ms. Mary Ann Castaneda, Head of Client Concerns Unit, during the Recognition of Green and Safe Health Facility and Awarding Ceremony for the DOH Hospital Star Awards 2023 on November 13, 2023 held at the Iloilo Convention Center in Iloilo City.
Healthcare facilities, both public and private, were assessed in terms of eight parameters, including (1) governance, (2) energy efficiency, (3) water efficiency, sanitation and hygiene, (4) healthcare waste management, (5) material sustainability (6) environmentally resilient health facility, (7) site sustainability and (8) indoor environmental quality.
