On April 29, 2025, the National Center for Mental Health – Public Health Unit took part in the World Health Workers Week Celebration of the Manila Health Department through a mental health awareness session held at Belmonte Health Center, Sampaloc, Manila.
Our very own resource speakers — Ms. Lynell C. Barayuga, Mr. Francis R. Paule, and Mr. Marvin T. Baraoidan — were invited to discuss key topics on mental health, stress management, and how to foster a supportive environment in the workplace.
The event was attended by different health workers and administrative staff of the Manila Health Department, who actively participated in discussions designed to promote self-care, team support, and a deeper understanding of mental health in the workplace.
This initiative is part of NCMH-PHU’s ongoing efforts to bring mental health awareness closer to communities and workplaces especially to those who tirelessly serve others.
