The National Center for Mental Health – Public Health Unit (NCMH-PHU), in partnership with PhilHealth NCR, conducted the 5th batch of the Psychosocial Wellness in the Workplace (PWIW) on November 20–21, 2025 at the PhilHealth Caloocan Local Health Information Office.
This activity is a continuation of last year’s wellness initiative and reflects PhilHealth and NCMH-PHU’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that its employees remain supported in their work environment.
During the two-day training, participants were guided through key discussions on conflict management, the healthy workplace framework, an overview of mental health, the importance of creating a supportive work environment, and practical approaches to managing stress. The sessions were delivered by Atty. Jose Marie P. Iporac, Mr. Francis R. Paule, Ms. Lynell C. Barayuga, Ms. Keisha D. Arjona, and Mr. Joshua James S. Vicente, who emphasized the value of psychosocial wellness in maintaining productivity and strengthening workplace relationships. Through the continued implementation of the PWIW program, PhilHealth NCR advances its goal of fostering a mentally healthy and resilient workforce that can better serve the Filipino community.
